NEOMED Education and Wellness Center opens: Higher Education …

The Northeast Ohio Medical University has opened its Education and Wellness Center, which includes a fitness center, conference center and a high school.
The $84 million, 177,000-square-foot facility was built in front of NEOMED’s campus on Ohio 44 in Portage County. It will be dedicated on Monday and a community open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.
Sequoia Wellness is operating a wellness facility, which offers memberships.
There are also places to eat and medical and pharmacy offices. The Bio-Med Science Academy (a STEM+M public high school) is also in the building.
