Carle Health and Fitness

Opened in Fall 2016, the $35 million dollar, 105,000 sq ft Center for Integrated Wellness, focuses on the twin goals of helping healthy people stay healthy as well as assist those patients dealing with acute medical conditions to achieve full restoration and maximizing their state of well-being. The center represents a deep collaboration between Carle Health, McLean County Orthopedics, and Integrated Wellness Partners to address the health promotion and wellness of the entire community. This physically and programmatically integrated facility is home to a cohesive care continuum within a single environment, all geared to meet the needs of patients and community members seeking to proactively maximize their well-being. Whether you are a patient in need of cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation or orthopedic surgery, an athlete seeking a safe and effective home to maximize your performance, or simply a member of the community trying to lose those 15 lbs your doctor has cautioned you about, the center’s unique facilities, programming as well as the medical and wellness experts work synergistically to support each individual on their personal journey to improved health and well-being.

Finally, the Center for Integrated Wellness has a tremendous impact beyond its four walls. It is the platform from which worksite wellness services, school-directed programs (from middle school through university-level), and health promotion initiatives are launched across the community. Working with organizations across Bloomington-Normal, this new center has help supply the expertise and resources necessary to positively impact the health status of the broad cross-section of the community.  And, in so doing, advance the project partners' goal of positively impacting the health of the entire population they serve.
